I've been serving with Calvary Chapel Church Planting Mission (CCCPM) for
almost 3 years. My main ministry here involves preparing all the necessary
documents required for all the visas for our outreach teams and missionaries in
Russia. Seven years ago, an outreach team came from Palm Springs, CA to my
hometown of Tambov Russia. I was invited to a free Christian rock concert
where I heard the Gospel for the first time. When I was hanging out with the
team I noticed a difference in their lives and it made me want to have the same
love and fellowship in my life. I began to attend Calvary Chapel and later
decided to go to Calvary Chapel Bible College in Moscow. I felt God calling me
to serve on staff with CCCPM. After I graduated I started to serve in the same
ministry that God used to reveal His love for me.

My name is Galya. I work for Calvary Chapel Church Planting Mission in Moscow
Russia. My ministry is to take care of all the purchasing for our ministry
needs at our Russia base and to assist in the logistics for the outreaches we
do throughout Russia. All of the staff here in Russia live in our dorm located
in the Moscow area. Also, all the teams who come to Russia will stay with us at
our dorm for a certain period of their stay in Russia, depending upon what city
their outreach will be in. We also often have interns on our campus. They are
here to learn about ministry and they live with us here at the Calvary dorm. We
are like one happy and loving family.
We have different needs for our ministry as well as our dorm. Please pray for
us. Our dorm needs repair. In order to do that we need finances for the
material and hands to come and help us do the repairs. We have started to do
things on our own, but we are not professionals and can't finish them all.
Also, our ministry needs prayer and other kinds of financial support,
especially for our Russian Ministry team. We would be really grateful for any
help God would lead you to provide.
I came to Christ in 2003 during a CCCPM outreach working with a Calvary Chapel
from California. My life was very hard and I was very unhappy before I became a
Christian. Now that I know God and His love, if you hear someone say they are
the happiest person in the world, don't believe it! Because I am the happiest
person in the world because of Christ.

Hello, my name is Dennis and I'm from Birsk. When I was about sixteen years old
a pastor of a small church in my city invited me and my friend to come to
church. We both went a few times. I didn't understand what anything meant, but
I did like the worship. After a while we stopped going. I spent a period of
time just hanging out with my friends, trying to spend time on the weekends
"having fun", going to clubs. Then one Sunday morning, when I was eighteen
years old, I woke up and I had the desire to go to church that day. Looking
back I know it was the Holy Spirit that was working in my heart, but at the
time, I just thought, "Maybe I will go to church today." After that, I was
hooked. I waited for every Sunday to come, just so that I could go to church
(Calvary Chapel Birsk) and learn about God. During the bible studies, God used
His word to convict me and change my heart. So I stopped spending time with my
old friends, and started spending more time at church. I joined the worship
team, and helped out in other ministries. In 2005 I came to Moscow to the
Calvary Chapel Bible college to be an intern for the summer. After returning
home, God put a big desire in my heart to be back in Moscow at CCCPM and serve.
I started praying and asked God if this is what He wanted for me. Then in 2007,
Andre (the head of CCCPM ministry team in Moscow) asked me to come and be on
staff. I now take care of the computers and all that kind of stuff. I also help
out with everything and anything that I can. And I love it! Please pray for the
salvation of my parents, and family. Pray also that God would teach me to
constantly do His will, and be led by his Spirit. Thank you!

My name is Olecia. I am 21 years old. I am from Volgograd, in the south of
Russia. About 6 years ago, in my own hometown, I heard about the Lord through
the American team that came to Volgograd to start the church "Calvary Chapel
Volgograd". They came to tell us about Jesus Christ. Shortly thereafter I
accepted Christ as my Savior. I was 15 years old at the time. A few days after
spending time at the church, I decided I wanted to study in a Bible College. 2
years later, right after I graduated high school, I went to Moscow to study in
the Calvary Chapel Bible College. After I finished Bible College, I went back
to Volgograd and helped in the ministry at my own church. In December 2007 I
returned to Moscow to join the ministry team (i.e. staff) of CCCPM. I work with
the teams that come over and I also help with the kitchen ministry. At this
time, I am sure that I am in the place that God wants me to be in and I want to
produce fruit in all that I do here. Please pray that God will provide for and
guide the ministry team here.

My Name is Nadia Martinenko. I am 24 years old. My hometown is in Omsk,
Siberia. When I was 13, I really needed God's help with something. The help I
thought I needed did not come to me the way I thought it should. So I decided
that God did not exist. At that time I seriously thought about killing myself.
I could not understand why life was so hard and seemed without meaning.
Thankfully, God kept me from killing myself. My purpose then became to get a
good education, and a good career. Through this I thought I would realize my
potential. I assumed that with a good education and a good job life would work
out ok for me.
I found out about the Lord when I was 16. My neighbor told me about a church
where she found God and not tradition. She became a believer at Calvary Chapel
Omsk almost as soon as the church was started. After 3 months, I decided to go
with her. And there, I found a love that I never felt from my parents or my
friends. A love that kept me going to that church. Eventually, I realized in my
heart (and not just in my mind) that I had been guilty before the Lord.
However, I am able to stand before Him because of Jesus' sacrifice. My life
completely changed. Since that time, all that I want to do is abide in the Lord
and share with others about Him.
As I finished school, I went to the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Moscow. God
changed a lot in me during that time. The most important thing that He taught
me was to desire His will above all else and to love better than I was able to
love before. After church I went home to Omsk to serve in my church. I served
as the accountant, I organized our various events, and did biblical counseling.
Unexpectedly, the Lord called me back to Moscow to serve on staff at CCCPM. I
have been serving here almost a month, as the senior accountant. But my main
ministry is still people. I am praying that my time here will only result in
the praise of our Lord, no matter what I am doing.
Not too long ago, I realized that what I wanted at 13 never came to pass.
Actually, the opposite has happened. I don't have a higher education and not a
profession. But I have the most important thing: the love that is necessary for
life. And I rejoice God's love is never ending.
